In February 2020, as the pandemic hit the world, athletes suffered from the lack of chances to engage in sports. To encourage the sports community. Nike Japan, with AKQA, launched weekly live-streaming workout sessions that allow people to connect and enjoy exercise while staying safe at home.
As the brand editor, I was in charge of the communication strategy. I was engaged in concept development, copywriting, scriptwriting of each session, on-site direction and the production of related editorial content.
In addition to the regular live streaming sessions, we published text articles and video content on workouts, mindfulness, and nutrition on Nike apps and social channels. I was responsible for writing and editing content as well as interviewing local talents and professional athletes.
